4 and 2, since we have problems with the nominated from other users than the nominator, because they nominated characters with an old style, I think who we need reconsider how will work the nominations.
Also, I would like to remember you who the rules of 4 and 2 characters per user, not is applicable on the reserve customers, since we can get any type of character as reserve customer. And, for the reserve customers we increase the number from 6 to 8 or 10 since we will up from 62 to 96 participants. So, do you want 8 or 10 reserve customers for FCT20, or another number?
Also, I recently asked Benny if he can figure out who sockpuppeted during the FCT18. I didn't ask him before for some reason, but I asked him now to see who was behind all the accounts. I will let you know what he says.
Sorry for not answering fast, I was back in the hospital (I was diagnosed with Absent Epilepsy with partial crisis, which does not cure, only treatment, but I'll have to live with that), and I just left after several hours, so I'll be calm first of all.
Since from FSF only Bryan have a vote right, from my friends and cousins, if Roman votes Bryan can vote and his vote counts. After that the other votes from the Anthony's cousins (althrough Roman is the only active) not will count, unless you want to give right to one of my cousins (which I very much doubt) to have an equivalence between both parts.
Bryan tell me who he wants to vote for Henry and Carrie, he says who was really hard for he to decide since he also likes Rebecca a lot, in case she wins he will support her for the next stage. So, only rest your approvation!
Mason (3), Dayle (5), Sora (1) and Trixie (7). Also, since Bryan knows who if Roman votes, his vote can count, so he tell me who if Roman vote, Bryan will vote for Dayle and Trixie. Once than we knows the Roman's vote we can tell if we will count both votes or none.
In fact, it could be a great idea, and also, can be an idea from FCT since the 2020 edition. We can have the touranement on all communities, since we already started with the Facebook fanpages, we can expanding this method for FANDOM.
Also, I made a blog post about a local tournament on FSF, I would like to ask you, if you can read the blog and run the indications who there says and tell me some errors, difficults or suggestions. You can make this today or tomorrow or when you can. That's all thanks!
1.- Since you mean who in your first day on FSW you was adverted after make an edition on it, and since you say who be on Flipline Forum remember your first day on wikia, i say that little joke, but if you don't like ignore them.
2.- Since the users who have few followers are very ignored or unpercetible, first we need to have a good activity there, after we can plans if we innclude them to FCT20. If we got many votes on FCT19 from Flipline Forum, we can include thme on FCT20, if no, we will consider this until the next year.
Are you going to include the forum in the next round? If so, are you going to use a poll or a normal forum thread? Since with a poll, people on Wikia can vote again on the forum, making it unfair, but with the forum thread, it will be easier to remove those votes.
I'm only an hour ahead of you. (it's 11:41 AM here) And I'm still new to the forum, so I don't know how to get all three images aligned properly. I tried doing that with the last round, but it looked bad, and I exceeded the maximum file size. So I can't do that. :)
Since we already got more than 100 replies here, I think it would be better to have a single reply for all the votes for each round and to update the votes without having to add another reply. This way we would not have to open a new thread when we reach as minimum 200 replies.
I update your last reply adding one vote more from Impala2016Susan (since she makes an mistake, she wrote "Flora", I only will count the male vote, Tyler) also I left a thread on the Susan's message wall, waiting the female vote.
I have noticed that you have had some errors when identifying users of Flipline Forum, so I decided to verify the users who voted from Flipline Forum, and I corrected the previous list of votes.
If you have problems remembering the usernames try to copy the username instead of trying to remember them. ;)
Well, if you have problems with punctuation marks and with the transliteration of other alphabets, you can omit punctuation marks and try to use letters that, in English or the Latin alphabet, look more like these symbols.
Since we already can vote on a poll, not will be necesary to count the FANDOM users' votes, since it will be counted by the poll. We only will need to count the Facebook and Forum's user votes and then adding to the FANDOM's user votes.
I think you can create a normal post and add an image and a poll together. If you do that for the next round, users won't have to go to the tournament page. They can see the customers and vote in the same post.
I see. FANDOM should allow that to happen. They should also allow you to bold or italicize words. (in general, not for the tournament) I wonder if they will add those features to Discussions in the future. Discussions is nowhere near the goal of replacing the forums yet.
In fact, they have already been replaced years ago, but the communities that used the Forums at least once, still have it. Flipline Studios Fandom never needed to use the Forum, so it does not have it anymore.
I've noticed we're getting significantly less votes on the poll than we were on the forum. I think this is because some users do not know how to get to the poll from the tournament page.
To solve this problem, I think that the announcement should take you straight to a normal Discussions post. In the post, there is the poll and links to the 2 separate images on Flipline Fanfiction. That way, users can see the poll and then they can easily see the links in the same spot.
I read your post about the FFCW's name chage and I support that, also I leave a message supporting your purpose.
In addition, I want to say that you or me can leave a little message to got more suggestions with the name and more can think about it (left a message like "Also, if you have a suggestion with the name you can tell to JK/me [third/first person] here, since Flipline Studios Fanon Wiki's URL already exist and you can think to avoid that.").
I have added a section saying "And if you have better ideas for the name of the wiki, please feel free to post it on this thread so everyone can see it. All suggested names will be taken into account."
As you probably know, Flipline Studios Fanon Wiki was originally Fan Papa Louie Customers Wiki. If I contact the founder, she will likely allow me to change the URL and wiki name back, leaving them open for FFCW to take.
Sorry for not update the round today, I was on the clinical since I leave the school and I recent leave there. And thanks to take the work. Also, this monday will be the preinscription to the university, so I will very bussy, I will gratiful if you can take the work!
I think who will be better than I update the next round, since I have one hour less than you, I can update more close to the Monday for the majority of the people. At which UTC±0 time you can update tomorrow?
And just curious, why did you vote for the FFCW customers instead of the FSF customers this round and last round? I appreciate the votes, but I'm just curious to why you decided to support us instead of your wiki.
Really I'm neutral with the votes, I vote for the customers who to me looks better, since I think who Zack and Irene are much better than Steven and Nathaly respectevily, I vote for them. And if you see the votes Zack definitely was better than Steven since Steven only got 6 of 27 of the votes.
Also, can you make the announcement update of Papa Louie Fanon Wiki, I can't since I'm not an admin/moderator there.
It is a little complicated to understand, it is in two languages, which although it is not a reason, both use very different contexts, based on the language and not on the subject.
The little I can understand is understandable to me, since Anthony has always taken away his own community (even though multiple communities of the same subject are not allowed), although I do not know what Geison has to do with that.
Even so, it is insufficient for me to comment on this, since Anthony's fundamentals so far seem insufficient.
I back, I see that it maybe are because a interest conflict about if a public group is secure or not, and the admins decide to private (again) the group to get a better security. Only is than I can see, there no have any message about the change of privacy.
I'm some busy today, since I'm liberating the School Social Service, so until this tuesday I can't be here. Also, can you get the wiki instead me? I only can availabe during the night. And pls can you vigilate the CLC19, since I see lately who one user was manipulate the votings.
1. A Facebook user changed their vote - is that allowed? The people who vote on Flipline Fanfiction can't change their vote (since Discussions doesn't let them), so I don't think Facebook users should be able to either.
2. Just to let you know, Sebastián Pérez voted twice - Once on Flipline Fans and once on the Flipline Fandom Facebook page. So only count his vote once.
1) I also noticed that, and I was wondering the same thing, but on Facebook voting policies / publications allows users to change their voting or publication (and moderators must respect their change of decision) this rule is only excluded when the modification is made after completed or completed the time lapse.
This is why I can not tell you whether or not we should create a rule for Facebook votes, since I do not know very well the rules with which Facebook bases its rules (I understand that it would be under the laws of the State of California), and how can we apply a rule that does not affect users' free will.
2) I know that, he was lefting those double votes, since he discover the FSF Facebook Page, so I'm not counting his votes as two votes, only as one and the first.
Well, since Flipline Fanfiction voters can't change their votes, I suggest that we add a rule that goes into effect starting with this round's vote. The rule would state "The first draft of a Facebook user's vote seen by LuisAngel01 or JK55556 is the vote that will be tallied in the final count. Although Facebook users may edit their votes without consequences, their changes to their selections will not be taken into account in the final count."
This rule allows Facebook users to continue expressing their true opinions of the customers, but it makes sure that they are 100% sure of their votes before they actually vote, similar to Flipline Fanfiction users. This makes it evenly fair for Flipline Fanfiction and Facebook users.
Or hablity to FFW voters to can tell or solicity a change of vote, if they want, since they can get a mistake while are voting, like you on one time while you solicited a change of vote on LANC19 here. This also can put both comunities on equally.
We should also make a rule going into effect starting now (as in the Onionfest Division) saying: Private votes are not allowed. (this includes Discord votes and Facebook messaging votes)
This makes sure that the only voters are natural voters who vote because they saw the announcement/Facebook post instead of voters who vote because you or I ask them to. Because those votes wouldn't have come in unless you or I asked them. (for example - I used to ask Discord users to vote, and you used to ask some Facebook users to vote privately)
We wouldn't change any of the results of the previous rounds before the Onionfest Division Semi-Finals, but starting with the Onionfest Division Semi-Finals, (last round) we would implement this rule. For example, Owen would still beat Kevin.
I didn't receive any private votes for the Onionfest Division Semi-Finals, and you didn't seem to either, so that's taken care of. If you did happen to receive a private vote during the round, then it likely will not count. (because of the rule)
I will stop asking users to vote privately, and if you agree with the rule, then you can too.
Please don't announce the next round on FFCW, since I will likely be releasing the wiki update on Sunday because I am busy on Saturday.
Since the rounds are only two days long in the FCT20, the wiki update will only be announced for a short period of time regardless of when the round is changed (Saturday or Sunday). Do you have any possible ideas of how we could solve this problem for next year? If you don't have any ideas, I'm sure I can think of something before then.
Please notify Ian Esteban San Martin that neither of his votes are valid. He voted on the Flipline Fans Facebook page and on Flipline Fanfiction (the second "blacklisted" account). I figured this out because his Wikia account had "Ian" in it, making me suspicious. I then went to his Facebook profile page, and I found a link to his DeviantArt account with the same name as his Wikia account.
Lately this wiki has been threatened by a vandalo that is spamming and vandalizing the wiki, and I have given the task of finding the way to counter these actions, so I came to the conclusion of creating a bot on the wiki that makes rollback to the vandals, I'm not sure if that could be done, since I've never had a bot, so I'd like to ask you for help and advice so that the wikia is no longer threatened.
A bot is a good idea to stop these acts of vandalism on this wiki.
Although I have a bot on FFCW, I only use it for editing many pages at the same time, such as adding/removing categories from thousands of pages quickly. As a result, I do not know if a bot can counter these actions quickly.
I have messaged Benny to see if he can help, since he is an expert on bots. You could also contact Community Central and ask them if a bot can do that and if they can create a bot for you.
While we are awaiting the response from Benny, I will keep a close watch on Flipline Fandom Wiki for vandals and I will block them immediately when I see them.
I am sorry that I am not able to be of as much help as you'd like me to be. :) But Benny certainly will be able to help you. I linked him this thread in my message, so he will likely respond on this thread on the next few days. I hope the problem doesn't get worse, and I will do my best to stop vandals from entering this wiki!
I have noticed a small case related to the customers that have already participated in FCT18 in the previous rounds, and it has to do with which KCP were designed.
Apparently a character designed with a more recent KCP is more likely to win in a round, if his opponent is designed with an older KCP. And this is confirmed with some rounds that we have already had in FCT18.
If you look at the results and look for the characters with which KCP were designed, you will realize this. I'll give you an example (My characters are designed with KCP17)
When Calos faced Germany (both of KCP17) we had a very bare result with only 7 votes difference. And if we see the current round where Lizarraga is from KCP17 and Mackenzie is designed with KCP15, Lizarraga has a big advantage with 37 votes difference.
And if the characters are from successive KCP they have more even results. Dominic (KCP16) lost to Dennis (KCP15) with 12 votes of difference. And Adam (KCP17) won against Apollo (KCP16) with 11 votes difference.
Interestingly, this also explains why Jodi (KCP17) is the only one that has won PLFW, as she faced Aliah from KCP15 and at the same time she is the only KCP17 from PLFW that has faced a KCP15 (the other KCP17 have faced KCP16 and KCP17). Being that in this tournament there are only characters KCP15, KCP16 and KCP17.
What do you think? Do you think that in FCT19 we should allow only recent KCP characters?
I think we should suggest that all wikis enter customers created in KCP18, but if a wiki wants to use older versions of KCP, they can, but it will be to their disadvantage.
KCP18 is due to start in August/September, so that gives users plenty of time (August-April) to create customers and remake their "older" customers in KCP18.
I've also noticed that PLFW's customers are mostly KCP17, but they have lost every single round except one. When PLFW loses to FFCW, usually, PLFW customers are newer (KCP17) but FFCW customers are older, yet they still win. (KCP15-16)
For example, when Dominic (PLFW - KCP16) faced Dennis (FFCW - KCP15), Dennis won, even though he was created using an earlier KCP. Is this just because people liked Dennis better, or is there another explanation for Dennis winning?
Have you ever seen a soccer game between two teams of upper / lower leagues? Well, the same thing happens here. When two teams of leagues close in category, have more equity in probability in obtaining a result (victory, draw or defeat), and when they are very leganas there is a greater tendency towards the superior team.
Or, in the US baseball leagues. There are a total of 7 categories.
Major (1st Category)
Triple A (2nd Category)
Double A (3rd C.)
Advanced Class A (4th C.)
Class A Average (5th C.)
Class A (6th C.)
Rookie (7th C.)
Suppose that a team of the 1st Category faces one of the 2nd Category, Who do you think would win? Obviously you will think of several possible circumstances (weather, terrain, city, players, etc.). And you will estimate what the winner would be by equally inclining both teams.
But if we substitute the 2nd C. one for an inferior league, and so on until we compare a match in a 1st C. team vs a 7th C. team. Where you will realize that little by little you could lean more toward the team of higher category (without leaving aside the possibility that your opponent wins).
So, the same for here, the KCP17 is of a higher category, because it has a large number of customizable features, colors, clothes, hairstyles, accessories, etc. And unlike a previous KCP possibly, people would be inclined towards the KCP17, without leaving aside that there is a well-designed character from a KCP previous to that of 2017.
Also, if there is no KCP18, we will take PLP and / or KCP17 instead for FCT19.
I started with the FCT18 tournament, I made a small change in the tournament article, since I have temporarily placed the introduction to the tournament at the top, since Round 2 will return to where I was, so the introduction can be read at the beginning of the article during the first round.
I have analyzed the problem and it seems very normal, in fact the same happened both in Customers League Championship Winter 2018 and Luis Angel's Next Chefs 2018 on this wiki, because there were excessive votes being treated as a tournament for a small number of active users, but when reviewing the statistics of activity in the wikia before, during and after the tournament, and these did not have significant differences (except for Fandom and Special Customers, because they had a short duration).
I have noticed that your wikia have been a total of 7 active users before the tournament, while in my wiki there was a registration of 5 users, that gives a total of 12 users in both wiki (except you and I would be 10). Not counting the 34 Fanfiction's users and the unregistered users. So it is possible that the high number of votes was only a surprise, and those 15 votes (except yours and mine) are due to some users either who were aware of the start of the tournament, or who happened to be They ran into the tournament and voted. Well, keep in mind that the tournament was planned for months and the start date was known for a long time. So these factors are the reason why it happened.
So this should only be an unlikely event, which became possible, so we must let it go for the moment, but we must not stop monitoring the activity of the tournament. I will be analyzing the activity in the three wikis, the tournament, and assuring myself that the number of new user registries will be minimal. In case of any abnormality you will be informed immediately.
1) Well, it's possible that it's just coincidence, and that soon they receive votes, even if they are a few, it would be very good.
2) It is definitely not possible for both wikis to lose all rounds of the 1 stage (the quarter-finals of each division), since you know that all wikis face each other. What if it would be possible is that a wiki or both wikis lose most of the rounds to how it happened in FCT17, but I hope this does not happen again.
JK and LuisAngel, I have news for you! THIS IS ABSOLUTLY SERIOUS! I caught the spammer , he claimed that he created so many accounts in last year's FCT! He closed his account after I replied to it! He is not a member from PLFW, but a TROLL WHO ALWAYS VANDALIZED ON PLFW!!!!! He has made so many sockpuppets, he just wouldn't stop, we all kept on blocking them for infintie! I was just FURIOUS when I saw his message, THIS IS NOT A JOKE, THIS MESSAGE IS NO SPAM, HE REALLY DID DO IT! IF He dares to do it again, we need to report to VSTF about this! >=(
Well, It is good that he has been punished, but the problem of FCT17 had many vandal participants, because I have already mentioned that I surprised an infringing one. So do not doubt that it is a group of user.
I also saw the votes increase by 11+ for Dominic and Annabelle in 1 minute...Is this sockpuppetry? Do we need to remove votes? Dominic and Annabelle were down by 9 5 minutes ago. Now, they are up by 3+.
I also saw the votes increase by 11+ for Dominic and Annabelle in 1 minute...Is this sockpuppetry? Do we need to remove votes? Dominic and Annabelle were down by 9 5 minutes ago. Now, they are up by 3+.
I don't think he voted, he probably just was visiting the website
Sorry for the inconvenience, but I would like to ask you a favor, now that I have been working on the Clean-ups for FCT18 participants, I have had some problems. These problems have cost me a bit of time, I have currently done clean-ups 1/3 of the participants, the rest is still in progress, and I need your help.
I would like to inform you that six of the characters representing FFCW have cost me a little time to work on it, this because:
1) The poor image quality does not allow me to recognize the correct colors to make a proper and correct Clean-up for such characters (Adam - Yoshi0001, Racho Pol - Benny, Alicia - Yours, Yasmin - Yoshi0001 and Monica - Already44) and I would like you to contact your creators so they can give me an image with better quality with the KCP creator.
2) The character France has three colors on his hair, so he makes the character look strange and tends to be unfavorable to voters, and he has It was hard to try not to look like that, but I did not manage it. And I would like you to contact Benny to correct this problem (whether he only has one hair color), or to replace this character with another one, also created by Benny.
This would be all that I would like to communicate, sorry for the inconvenience.
I realized that you have already started the FFCW nominations for FCT18, and I am excited to meet the 22 chosen characters in your wiki.
Since on the Main Page of your wiki you have the progress of FCT18 at the moment, it is currently outdated (since the FSF nominations have already ended and started on your wiki), Well I would like it to be updated, to continue promoting the progress at the moment of the tournament.
I would also like you to clarify in the thread of the nominations in your wiki that Sarah of PCF Steve4 can not be nominated in your wiki either, since she qualified to the tournament from FSF.
The same for the characters of Anthony045, since they were eliminated in my wiki, unless you want to give it one more chance (only if you think it's a good idea).
I just wanted to inform you that three characters have already managed to classify the tournament in a mathematical way, since they have obtained enough points to be able to classify with respect to other characters of their same group, although there is still a round to be played.
Those three characters are: Madeleine, Bryan and Alexis. (You can see them if you click on the links)
I hope you can start organizing for FCT18, this is to avoid setbacks, even though there is still a long time to go.
