The Papa's Next Chefs 2020 tournament is the eighth Next Chefs tournament to name the chefs for a future Papa Louie's restaurant time-management game. This edition marks the return of the competition after two years without this. Voting could be done on the Flipline website in the blogs sections in the Papa's Next Chefs and Contests categories. The winners were Allan and Akari.

Hey Everyone!
After a long hiatus, we are pleased to announce the return of your favorite competition… Papa’s Next Chefs!
As some of you may know, the Papa’s Next Chef tournament is a tournament where you, the fans, get to choose who will be working at Papa’s next restaurant! The winners of each week move on to the next round and one step closer to becoming Papa’s Next Chefs!
This year we have the Cheesecake Division, the Pumpkin Division, the Keylime Division, and the Doberge Division. Let’s get this party started!

- The division names are based on holiday ingredients based on pies.
- The Cheesecake Division is taken from the Cherry Cheesecake Syrup.
- The Pumpkin Division is taken from the Pumpkin Pie Filling.
- The Key Lime Division is taken from the Key Lime Drizzle.
- The Doberge Division is taken from the Doberge Drizzle.
- This is the first time where Drakson, Daniela, Rollie, Indigo, Kaleb and Kasey O participate in the competition.
- This is the first time where Mindy and Wally don't appear on the Next Chefs begin participating since 2011.
- This is the first time where Duke doesn't appear on the Next Chefs begin participating since 2016.
- The following customers are not participating since 2016-onwards are as follows: Mindy, Wally, Duke, Skyler, Ivy, Austin, Tohru, Nevada, Julep, & Olivia.
- This is the first time where Zoe won in the first round.
- This is the first time since 2016 where Shannon is competing in this tournament.
- With this tournament Akari is the only customer with a participation pattern that is every three years, begin staying in 2011, 2014, 2017 and this year.
- This is the third time where Robby and Greg are faced at the first round. The first time was on 2012 and the last time was on 2015.
- This is the first time where we don't have division podiums at this format of the tournament.
- This is the first time where Akari, Allan and Trishna reaches the finals.

Hey Everyone…
You did it! You, the fans, have completed another successful Next Chefs Tournament, and your voices have been heard. Papa’s Next Chefs are… Allan and Akari!!!!
We are far from ready to reveal anything for the next app, but we are super excited for these two to join the ranks as chefs. How about a big round of applause for the runners up, Hacky Zak and Trishna.
